TIBCO BusinessEvents® is an in-memory, event based platform for complex event processing (CEP). In this
attendees gain the knowledge and skills for implementing business optimization solutions with
BusinessEvents that collect and correlate events from various sources. Fundamental concepts of
BusinessEvents such as ontology design, rule inferencing, testing and deployment are covered. Students also
develop business rules with Decision Manager, create a State Machine to track orders as they transition
through an order management system and implement BusinessEvents as a web service. Finally, the event
pattern matcher is used to catch exceptions with order processing and send alerts where required.
